21st Surf Illumination Set for Saturday December 3rd

 

4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. – St. Augustine Beach Pier Park – This event was started more than two decades ago by the Civic Association! In 2021 we began to work with the City of St Augustine Beach. Our goal is to make the festival more fun and entertaining while keeping it local! This annual event is a family friendly featuring the lighting of the St. Augustine Beach Christmas Tree! The event will offer free photos with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Mermaids, dancers, a DJ playing holiday music, balloon twister and face painter for children of all ages to enjoy! This year there will also be a Pirate Ship Float, photos with Pirates and a Toy Drive for Foster Children in St Johns County! Several vendors will have arts & crafts including holiday themed gifts.
This year Surf Illumination welcomes the help of The Ancient City Sirens! This fun, philanthropic group will be heading up a Toy Drive for Foster Children in St Johns County. We encourage attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child of any age. The City of St Augustine Beach, The Ancient City Sirens and the Civic Association want to spread joy to those less fortunate that us.
